Rich McGeorge: A dream come true to play for the Packers

Packers.com editor Vic Ketchman sat down with former Packers tight end Rich McGeorge who talked about his time with the Packers and if he could play tigth end in today's game.

McGeorge, picked No. 16 overall in the 1970 NFL Draft from Elon University, played nine seasons at tight end for the Packers (1970-78). The sure-handed receiver is seventh in team annals among tight ends with 175 career receptions. McGeorge authored a standout year in 1975 with 32 receptions for 458 yards and one touchdown. Overall, McGeorge’s 175 career receptions garnered 2,370 yards and 13 touchdowns.
