Lambeau Field Atrium renovation work continues

Posted Jan 16, 2014

Miller Lite Gate, Harlan Plaza to close Jan. 20; Oneida Nation Gate to serve as sole entrance to Atrium until July 2014

With the conclusion of the Packers’ season, Lambeau Field Atrium renovation work this week commenced in exterior areas on the north and east sides of the Atrium.

Visitors to the Atrium should note that beginning Monday, Jan. 20, the Miller Lite Gate and Harlan Plaza will close, and the Oneida Nation Gate will serve as the Atrium’s sole entrance until July 2014.

Visitors also should note the Packers Pro Shop, Curly’s Pub and Stadium Tours remain open during construction. Lambeau Field events are still being booked, as well, and will continue during the construction. Visitors to the parking lot and Atrium will be aided by signage indicating the proper entrance to use.

The Harlan Plaza work included the temporary removal of the iconic statues of Curly Lambeau and Vince Lombardi. The statues were moved to a temporary holding area slightly to the west in the parking lot along Lombardi Avenue. Excavation work on the north will begin shortly as part of the new Packers Pro Shop construction. The statues will be moved back to a new Harlan Plaza in July upon completion of that component of work.

Work on the east side of the Atrium is for the new east-side gate, which also will open in summer 2014 and serve the Pro Shop, Atrium and stadium on gameday.
