The deadline to submit art to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame’s fourth annual art contest, celebrating Youth Art Month, is Jan. 31, 2013. School-aged children in grades K-12 must either drop off or mail their art work to the Hall of Fame by that date for consideration in the contest.
This year’s theme, ‘Pick Your Packer’ (present player or past great player), will be judged on a basis of creativity, originality and overall impression.
Artwork will be judged in four different grade levels: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. One winner per age group will be selected and the artwork will be judged by students from St. Norbert College and art instructor Father Jim Neilson. The winner’s artwork will be highlighted in the Hall of Fame during the month of March and will receive four complementary passes to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and a $100 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop.
All entries must be accompanied with entry form, signed by the artist and the parent, guardian or teacher attesting to the originality of the work and verifying the artist’s grade as of Jan. 31, 2013. The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The day before a game the Hall is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours may vary on gamedays and holidays.
