Chmura's career built on lifelong memories

Posted Apr 20, 2014

Packers.com editor Vic Ketchman sat down with former Packers tight end Mark Chmura who talked about his time with the Packers, the Super Bowl XXXI team, being a favorite target of quarterback Brett Favre, and staying in touch with his team.

Chmura, picked in the sixth round of the 1992 draft, played eight seasons for the Packers. The elite tight end was a contributor in both Super Bowl XXXI, where he scored the final points with a 2-point conversion catch, and Super Bowl XXXII, when he finished with 4 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. He finished his career with 188 receptions for 2,253 yards and 17 touchdowns. Chmura was elected to three Pro Bowls, in 1995, 1997 and 1998, and was enshrined in the Packers Hall of Fame in 2010.
